CBC News has teamed up with the International Women’s Day Foundation to share how to use the Pillow with your babies and other caregivers.
The Pillow is a great option for early pregnancy bleed prevention.
“The Pillow has proven to be effective at preventing pregnancy, but you may not know how to apply it correctly,” says Debra Bessette, a medical officer with the IWF.
“It is important to apply the Pillows correctly to avoid having babies with bleeding on the sides or abdomen.
Apply it in the direction of your baby’s head.
You should not apply it to the sides of your tummy or stomach.”
In a video posted to YouTube, Bessettes explains how to make sure you apply the pillow correctly.
