A pregnant woman has been discharged from hospital after being discharged in a bed that she was sleeping in.
The 34-year-old was discharged after she became unconscious in the unit where she was being treated for a blood clot.
Her partner was also discharged, while her father was discharged and a relative was discharged.
The woman’s condition is not believed to be serious.
It comes as the government is facing questions about the use of medical beds in hospitals.
The Government has also been criticised for not adequately monitoring the use and maintenance of medical bed facilities.
It was reported last week that Queensland had not had any beds for the past five years.
The Health Department said in a statement that beds were being used in the emergency department, intensive care unit and intensive care nursery.
The department said it was investigating whether the use was justified or not.
The Queensland Health Department also said it would monitor the use, maintenance and availability of beds in the coming months.
